technician

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 – $40.00 per hour

Our Marine Service Technicians are responsible for accurate & timely repair of boats, motors, & trailers.

The Technician is responsible for diagnostic, repair, & testing the unit & completing the repair order with time & parts for billing purposes. Duties & Responsibilities * Complete designated work in a timely, competent & professional manner.

  • Repair a variety of boats including inboards, sterndrives, and outboards
  • Accurately diagnose & repair problems with boats & motors ).
  • Coordinate with parts manager on parts that are needed to ensure timeliness of job completion.
  • Document all work & parts on repair order. Cause and Correction/ All Parts
  • Assist with pickup & delivery of boats as needed.
  • Maintain & protect the interior & exterior of the boat as it is being serviced
  • Ensure the customer’s boat is kept covered and clean while in our care
  • Notify Service Manager of any discrepancies or problems immediately upon discovery.
  • Attend applicable service schools to maintain certification & for continuing educational requirements.
  • Must be comfortable using a wide range of shop tools and equipment
  • Provide their own hand tools
  • Be able to work independently and efficiently
  • Return all replaced parts to parts/warranty department so claim may be filed.
  • Maintain a spotless work environment. Keep bay and shop clean
  • Assist in training entry level technicians
  • Promote the dealership and our brands at all time

Service Advisor

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

The Service Advisor is responsible for providing support to the Service Manager, Service Team, and Customers.

Responsibilities include working with the customer (either internal or external) to get the information required to perform the work on the boat, following through to make sure the work is completed correctly the first time in a timely manner.

KEY TASKS: • Assist Service Manager in day-to-day operations including scheduling and distribution of work for technicians and yard team, utilizing Service Scheduler and other tools as required to generate and manage work orders. • Use manufacturer flat rate guides and Standard Service Operations (SSO’s) to determine the time allotted for the work, and follow up on timely completion. • Insure that the Complaint, Cause and Correction of each problem are noted in the TCS work order.

• Greet customers and determine needs, providing clear and precise instructions on the work order for the technician. • Answer incoming calls in a professional manner, returning all customer calls prior to close of business each day. • Promote the sale of additional labor services, parts and accessories in a professional manner for each customer. • Obtain Customer signature on every work order, and collect payment for work prior to releasing customer boat. In the event the repair cost is unknown initially, obtain customer approval on work order to diagnose issues, and then contact customer with estimate for repairs as soon as determined, and obtain approval.

• Schedule, coordinate and follow-up on sublet contractors. • Inspect quality of work performed as required, prior to delivery to the customer. • Communicate with the customer during repairs and coordinate customer pick-up. • Finalize and invoice work orders. • Provide prompt, detailed and timely flow of all paperwork. • Other Duties as assigned.

Lot Porter & Boat detailer

Job Duties:

  • Washing and detailing boats to keep them showroom-ready
  • Operating tractors to move boats around the lot
  • Keeping the service area clean, organized, and safe
  • Assisting our certified marine service technicians with daily tasks
  • General lot maintenance duties as needed

Requirements:

Cashier / Receptionist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and dispatch incoming phone calls
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers
  • Process payments for parts and service customers
  • Support the parts and service writing team with daily operations
  • Assist sales and finance departments with light administrative tasks
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming front desk environment

Requirements:
